Description
You no longer rely on the rigid structure of the Order of Spell Levels to cast spells of levels 1 through 5. Instead, all of your spell slots from levels 1 through 5 are converted into a reservoir of Mana, which you use to cast your spells more flexibly. You have 1 mana for each level of the spell slots you had before. For example, all of your 1st level spell slots grant you 1 mana each, while all of your 5th level spell slots grant you 5 mana each. To cast a leveled spell of 5th level or below, you now expend an amount of mana from your reservoir equal to that spell’s level instead of expending a spell slot. You regain all of your expended mana when you complete a long rest and any time you regain a spell slot of 5th level or lower, you instead regain that much Mana. Spell slots from the Pact Magic feature cannot be converted into Mana.
Additionally, whenever you cast a spell which deals damage of one of the types listed below, you can alter the spell to cause a different type of damage instead.
