Description
When you critically strike with a piercing weapon you can cause the creature to begin bleeding, hobble their movement, or strike a vital to deal increased damage.
If you choose to make the creature bleed they take necrotic damage equal to your weapon’s damage die at the start of your turn and healing effects they receive are only half effective. They can make a Constitution saving throw at the end of their turn to stop the bleeding.
If you choose to hobble the creature they are Crouched and take necrotic damage equal to your weapon’s damage die when they take the move action on their turn. They can make a Constitution saving throw at the end of their turn to recover from the hobble.
If you choose to strike a vital of the creature the damage dice of your critical strike is tripled instead of doubled.
Your critical strike threshold is increased by 1 when striking with a piercing weapon
