Full Description

Residing within the expansive and untamed jungles of the land, the Apelings are an intelligent and communal race of ape-folk. With strong limbs, expressive faces, and fur covering their bodies, Apelings bear a striking resemblance to the great apes of the wild, yet their upright posture and keen minds set them apart.

Communal Living: Apelings live in harmonious and closely-knit communities, scattered across jungle and mountainous regions. Each community is self-sustaining, relying on the collective efforts of its members to gather food, construct shelters, and protect their territory. Decisions are made through group consensus, ensuring the well-being of every individual.

Elder Wisdom: The wisdom of the elderly is highly revered within Apeling society. Elders serve as mediators, storytellers, and advisors, their insights shaped by years of experience. Apelings believe that the collective wisdom of their ancestors is preserved through oral traditions, and thus storytelling holds a special place in their culture.

Natural Climbers: With strong limbs and a natural affinity for heights, Apelings are excellent climbers. They are adept at navigating through the dense canopy, using their agility and strength to traverse from tree to tree with ease. The forest canopy serves as both a hunting ground and a refuge, providing safety from ground-based threats.
