Full Description
Sahuagin, also called sea devils, are a race of shark-like humanoids with prominent snouts, claws, fins, a tail and a maw filled with sharp teeth. They are known to be skilled hunters, raiders and warriors, dwelling in the oceans. Most Sahuagin are a bit smaller than humans but heavier but they grow until they die, getting only stronger and more cunning over the years. The female and male Sahuagin look alike and outsiders often have fail to distinguish them, especially because they are equally strong and ferocious.

Society: Sahuagin society is organized around small nomadic bands, with each band consisting of tightly-knit family units. These bands roam the vast expanses of the ocean, following migratory patterns of prey and seasonal currents. The Sahuagin place great importance on family bonds, with each member playing a vital role in the survival and prosperity of the group.
Despite their ruthless reputation, Sahuagin are fiercely protective of their kin and are known for their unyielding loyalty to their family. The hierarchy within a band is established through strength and combat prowess, with the most formidable Sahuagin leading as the Alpha. Disputes within the group are resolved through ritualized combat, ensuring the continual strength of the band.
Culture: Sahuagin culture is deeply rooted in their connection to the ocean and its inhabitants. They are adept hunters, utilizing their keen senses and swift movements to capture prey. Their distaste for other races is well-known, and they are often unwilling to engage in diplomacy, preferring to keep to themselves and maintain their nomadic lifestyle.
The Sahuagin revere the might of the ocean and its creatures, especially sharks, which they consider to be sacred. Rituals and ceremonies are conducted to honor these revered creatures and to seek their favor in hunting and combat.
Habitat: Sahuagin predominantly dwell in the ocean’s depths, making temporary homes in underwater caves and reefs. They are well-adapted to life underwater but are also capable of venturing onto land for short periods, particularly in pursuit of prey or defending their territory.Live of a Traveler
Few sahaugin choose the path of a traveler out of their own will and it is often because one of their superiors send them on a long lasting mission or they are on a mission for their god for the greater good of their race for which they sacrifice their own connections with the band. Often outcast Sahuagin are also traveling and avoid the contact to their race because they are afraid of getting killed on sight.
