Shortly after the creation of Ravena, Aradaean and Vitaean arcanists began to endeavor to travel to the moon and a “space race” began
This space race shifted the previously collaborative relationship between the people of Geminaea into a more competitive, antagonistic one but increased planetary cohesion and union
Aradaean arcanists were the first to reach the Moon and began to establish claims where they could harness Ravena’s strong magical energies
Vitaeans and other Aradaean civilizations arrived on the moon shortly after and a land-grab frenzy began
Tensions built between the settlers of Ravena until a chaotic war broke out over control of the moon
The conflict on the moon began to cause instability in Ravena’s core and some arcanists determined that if not stopped, the moon could be destroyed
A coalition effort lead by Shaimyra of Dragar joined the war with the goal of ending the conflict as quickly as possible
Shaimyra’s coalition of Geminaeans were able to persuade or overcome the belligerents in the war and a treaty was made that established general Geminaean Sovereignty of Ravena with governance by a consortium of guilds
Following the signing of the Guildpact, Geminaea saw nearly 2 millennia of connectivity through Ravena
Travel between Aradaea and Vitaea was possible & trade and commerce began to expand rapidly
Southern Aradaean civilizations and Northern Vitaean civilizations steadily lost influence and power over time due to their distance from the Raveni shuttle sites. Many struggled to remain relevant while others became entirely insular — eventually all faded into history
Racial and planetary identity became an prevalent topic as Raveni culture grew and became dominant as a ‘mixing pot’ of Geminaean cultures
Many racially-aligned civilizations consolidated in the Ravena-accessible sides of the planets, leaving the opposite hemispheres largely uninhabited and disconnected
During this period, unknown to Geminaeans, the Eldaari began executing a plan to take control of the collective belief of mortals which Ola’Vandyr organized into their Pantheon (believing that Ola’Vandyr’s concept of balance was misguided and can be improved)
The Wataari discovered the Eldaari plot and a war between the two broke out over centuries, resulting in the defeat and scattering of the Wataari across the Astral Sea and the destruction of Anevar
Unfettered by the defeated Wataari, the Eldaari secretly establish deep control of Geminaea through replacing its political leaders (including Shaimyra) and establishing magical conduits across Ravena to control the strength of its arcane core
The Eldaari executed the final stage of their plan by causing Vitaea and Aradaea to rapidly hurdle toward Ravena sending Geminaea into chaos and despair at the sudden onset of armageddon
Ended when the Eldaari ‘miraculously’ appeared, sent by their ‘god’ Eldaar to ‘save’ the people from their ‘annihilation’ and beseached them all to forsake the false gods that abandoned them
