Short Description
A scattered number of (usually) individual humanoid manifestations of Aethyr created by high concentrations of magical energy which experience extremely short lifespans and a high affinity and hunger for magical energyFull Description
Aethaboren are ephemeral beings, born from the intense concentrations of Aethyr—raw magical energy—that suffuse the world. These unique manifestations are touched by arcane forces and drawn to places of great magical power. Their existence is a brief but vivid tapestry of experiences and sensations, for they typically live short, intense lives. Driven by an innate hunger for magical energies, Aethaboren are viewed as both mystical and somewhat tragic figures in a world not fully designed for them.

Physical Appearance
Aethaboren often appear humanoid but are easily distinguishable by their translucent or luminescent skin that seems to shimmer with internal light. They can be a myriad of colors, often reflecting the type or quality of the magic that birthed them. No two Aethaboren look exactly alike, and their form can fluctuate with their mood and magical saturation.
Culture
Aethaboren don't have a conventional culture due to their short lifespans and the individual circumstances of their creation. They are often solitary beings, although they may be drawn to magical academies, sites of arcane power, or other places where they can sate their constant hunger for magic.
Society and Relations
Since they don't form traditional communities, Aethaboren relate to other beings on an individual basis. Many are perceived as mystical or intriguing due to their inherent magical nature, and they can be welcomed as novelties or reviled as omens. They often form relationships quickly and deeply, aware that their time is limited.
Alignment and Religion
Aethaboren lean towards neutrality, driven more by their craving for magical experience than by moral or ethical concerns. They may venerate deities of magic, life, or death, but their devotion is often a personal affair.
