Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”You can use the character builder and sheet without an account; characters are then saved only in your browser.
If you sign in with Discord, the site stores:
- your Discord user id, display name and avatar, so you can be recognized when you sign in and shown to your GM and fellow players;
- your characters, builder drafts and view settings;
- the campaigns you create or join, and a record of changes a GM makes to your characters, so you can review or undo them.
This is stored with Supabase, which hosts the accounts database. It isn’t shared with anyone else or used for anything but running the site. Players can’t see each other’s characters; the GM of a campaign can see and edit the characters you add to it.
You can download everything in your account, or delete it, on the account page. Deleting your account deletes your characters, drafts and settings, and any campaigns you run.
System Reference Document 5.1
Section titled “System Reference Document 5.1”This work includes material taken from the System Reference Document 5.1 (“SRD 5.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC and available at https://dnd.wizards.com/resources/systems-reference-document. The SRD 5.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.
SRD 5.1 text appears in three places, always marked:
- Rules pages that end with an SRD notice, such as Abilities, Combat, Spellcasting & Antimagic and Equipment and Belongings. Their SRD sections are adapted where the original names D&D classes, races, backgrounds or other settings, so that they fit Geminaea’s heritages, vocations and Aethyrflames.
- The “From the SRD 5.1” section of some item, language and skill entries, which gives the SRD’s description where Geminaea’s own description is blank.
- Creature stat blocks marked “Stat block from the System Reference Document 5.1”, in the Creatures compendium and the combat runner.
Magic items whose source is the SRD 5.1 were added from it to the Items compendium; their text is in the “From the SRD 5.1” section of the entry. Their prices are Geminaea’s.
System Reference Document 5.2.1
Section titled “System Reference Document 5.2.1”This work includes material from the System Reference Document 5.2.1 (“SRD 5.2.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC, available at https://www.dndbeyond.com/srd. The SRD 5.2.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.
SRD 5.2.1 text appears in the “From the SRD 5.2” section of some item entries, for adventuring gear the SRD 5.1 doesn’t describe, and in the stat blocks of creatures whose source is the SRD 5.2.1. References to other chapters of the SRD 5.2.1 are left out.
Creatures and items from other books
Section titled “Creatures and items from other books”Beyond the SRDs, the Creatures compendium and the Items compendium include creatures and magic items from books published under the Open Game License 1.0a or the ORC License, as collected by Open5e. Each of these names its source on its entry and in the compendium’s Source column; a creature’s stat block and an item’s text end with that book’s attribution. Item prices are Geminaea’s, not the book’s. They are not part of Geminaea’s world or rules: use them as you see fit.

Open Game License
Section titled “Open Game License”Designation of Open Game Content. The entries of creatures whose source is one of the Open Game License books listed above, including their names and stat blocks, are Open Game Content. This includes the fields filled from those stat blocks (size, type, alignment, Armor Class, Hit Points, speeds, ability scores, saving throws, skills, senses, languages, resistances and condition immunities). So are the names, rarity, type, attunement and text of items whose source is one of those books; their prices are not.
Designation of Product Identity. Everything else on this site is Product Identity and is not Open Game Content: the names Geminaea and Aethyrsparked; the world’s lore, history, proper names, places, peoples, gods, characters and organizations; the Aethyrsparked rules, heritages, vocations and Aethyrflames; the maps, artwork, logos and the site’s design.
