Chaos Surge Roller
Say what set the surge off and where, and the roller works out the Surge Charge, rolls the dice and shows the severity and a surge sign. Before the result is rolled, players can ground, embrace or steady the surge. The rules are on Aethyr Chaos Surges, and every result is in the compendium.
How many d20s a chaos surge check rolls: the level of the magic, adjusted for how it was worked, plus dice for a charged weave such as an Aethyr Node, Aethyrstorm or Aethyr Rift. Each die under 10 raises the surge's severity.A visible tell rolled on a d20 with every chaos surge check, such as lights changing color or shadows lagging, shown even when nothing surges.
