Transport
Transport is how people and goods move across Geminaea, between its cities, across its two planets and to the moon between them. Much of it is powered by Aethyr: high-energy Myzium drives airships and other vehicles, while flux cells power smaller craft. Since the invention of the Raveni Shuttle, travel between Aradaea, Vitaea and Ravena has drawn people on both planets to settle near the planetary ports.
Vehicles in Common Use
Section titled “Vehicles in Common Use”- Airships: large Aethyr-powered vessels that carry cargo and passengers through the air.
- Copters: small rotor craft for short, direct flights.
- Landships: heavy ground vehicles for hauling across open country.
- Raveni Shuttles: the vessels that link Ravena with the twin planets.
- Sail Ships: wind-driven vessels of the seas and rivers.
- Submersibles: sealed craft that travel beneath the water.
- Trains & Trams: rail vehicles, from city tramways to long-distance lines.
- Walkers: legged vehicles for steep and broken ground.
Trade and Control
Section titled “Trade and Control”Fuel, shipyards, rail lines and shuttle terminals are all costly to build and run, so most transport is owned by guilds, industrial houses and governments. Places that host major routes can grow rich from the traffic.
