Elden-Haea (High Elves)
The Elden-Haea are the high elves of Aradaea, an aristocratic people devoted to arcane magic. They branched from the Elden-Eladen some 60,000 years ago, shaped by the lands they settled and the magic they made their own.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”High elves are lithe and tall, around six and a half feet and about 100 pounds. Their skin runs to lighter tones, their fine, straight hair comes in many colors, and they are beardless, with high pointed ears and vivid eyes that shift in color.
Society and Culture
Section titled “Society and Culture”A dynasty of high elves rules over a carefully crafted and curated society. Its order is built in close alignment with powerful magical leylines, which the high elves draw on throughout their empire. Learning, magic and lineage carry great weight, and most high elves learn at least a little spellcraft and more than one language.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”Their home is Ultara, a grassland dotted with deciduous forest that is unusually well watered for Aradaea, fed by the watershed of the mountains to its south.
Life Cycle
Section titled “Life Cycle”A high elf can live around 500 years.
Relations
Section titled “Relations”They share their eladrin ancestry with the other Elden heritages, and many Elden-Haku have a high elf parent. Most speak Elvish and Aethyrian Common.
