Gran-Grek (Ogre)
The Gran-Grek are the ogres of Aradaea, a mixed heritage of giant and orcish blood. They descend from both the Gran-Stona and the Haku-Greka, and they have been a people of their own for some 80,000 years.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Ogres are large, standing around 10 feet tall and weighing some 1,000 pounds. Their skin runs to browns, greens and blacks, their straight hair is brown or black when they have any, and their features carry a light orcish cast.
Society and Culture
Section titled “Society and Culture”Ogres live in tribes and clans rather than kingdoms. In Sylvaria’s Vargal valley, ogre tribes live alongside goliaths and keep human villages as vassals.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”Their home region is the Blackchasm Desert, though ogre clans are also found in the Vargal valley of Sylvaria. They feel tremors through the ground out to about 30 feet.
Life Cycle
Section titled “Life Cycle”Ogres are short-lived for giantfolk, with a lifespan of around 75 years.
Relations
Section titled “Relations”The Gran-Doda share their stone giant and proto-orc ancestry. Their orcish side links them to the Grekkin, and in Vargal they live closely with the Gran-Gola.
