Gran-Fira (Fire Giant)

The Gran-Fira are the fire giants of Aradaea, an elemental giant heritage descended from the Gran-Tita. They diverged from the titans through magic some 200,000 years ago, and like the other giants of Aradaea, they were shaped by the meeting of nature and elemental power.

Appearance

Fire giants stand around 18 feet tall and weigh some 5,000 pounds. Their skin runs to reds, blacks and browns, and their hair has the look of living flame.

Society and Culture

Like the other giants of Vogdu, fire giants live within the Giant Ordning, a highly structured order that settles each giant’s standing and duties. Their particular customs within it have yet to be recorded.

Homeland

Their home is Vogdu, a small mountain valley carved from the rock by giants. It is sparsely populated by the standards of Aradaea, but its farms and herds are worked on a scale large enough to feed its enormous people. Fire giants feel tremors through the ground out to about 60 feet.

Life Cycle

A fire giant can live around 1,000 years.

Relations

They share their titan ancestry with the Gran-Stoma, Gran-Cloda, Gran-Frosa and Gran-Stona, and more distantly with every Gran heritage. The giants of Stelvast also look to the Ordning of Vogdu.
