Morpheus Otellius
Morpheus Otellius is one of the four named members of the Chryseum Council, part of the Draco Chryseum. The records gathered so far hold nothing more about Morpheus: no heritage, homeland, title or deeds have been set down. This page therefore describes the council’s setting rather than the councillor.
Origins
Section titled “Origins”Morpheus’s origins are unrecorded. The order Morpheus serves is made up of stellar guardians born from the lineages of dragons, owls and phoenixes, and it made its home on Ravena.
No deeds are credited to Morpheus yet. The council’s order is best known for two things: its long watch against threats of a metaphysical kind, and the champions of the Phoenix Chryseum, who began in its service and went on to defy Eldaar’s plan to bind every Geminaean mind into a single, unchanging whole. Morpheus’s role in those years, if any, has not been told.
Legacy
Section titled “Legacy”Since the Godspact was rewritten, the Draco Chryseum has stepped back into a largely symbolic role, advising Ravena only in exceptional cases. Morpheus remains one of the few councillors whose names are known, and the rest of that story is still to be written.
