Elden-Draku (Wood Elf)

The Elden-Draku are the wood elves of Aradaea, tribal elves whose magic is the magic of druids. They branched from the Elden-Eladen some 60,000 years ago, shaped by the forests they made their home and by the magic they practiced there.

Wood elves are wiry and lanky, standing around five and a half feet tall and weighing about 100 pounds. Their skin runs from medium to dark tones, their fine, straight hair comes in many colors, and they are beardless, with wide pointed ears and large eyes.

Wood elves live in roaming tribes rather than fixed cities. Their druids keep the tribe’s bond with the land, and moving through the forest is as much a part of life as any settlement.

Their home is Aetha’Lora, a dense forest of massive, ancient trees and one of the few rain forests on arid Aradaea, kept wet by the currents of the Northal Sea. They are swift and sure climbers among its branches.

A wood elf can live around 500 years.

Their nearest kin are the other Elden heritages, among them the Elden-Haea. Most speak Elvish, Sylvan and Aethyrian Common.

A wood elf whose Aethyr Knot ignites brings a tribe’s closeness to the living world into a life bound to the Aethyrweave.
