Battle, Abrysses' Domain
Battle is the Divine Plane of war, a war-torn realm of eternal conflict that embodies valor and the warrior spirit. Like every Divine Plane, it is known only through the Godspact and the dreams of mortals, since no mortal has yet entered it.
Patron
Section titled “Patron”The domain belongs to Abrysses the Warrior, the Prime Deity of War. Four Divines serve under Abrysses and command their own parts of the field: Zhy’Venis the Warmonger holds sway over weapons, Timethedryn the Champion over battle itself, Lesandrys the General over strategy and Brokendra the Sadist over violence.
Landscape
Section titled “Landscape”Dreamers describe open fields, broken walls and smoking camps where fighting never stops for long. The ground is said to change with each clash, as if the plane remembers every war that mortals have fought.
Inhabitants
Section titled “Inhabitants”Accounts speak of countless warriors who fight, fall and rise again, though no account says who they are or where they came from.
Glimpses by Mortals
Section titled “Glimpses by Mortals”Soldiers and warriors of The Order of the Martial Forces claim visions of Battle before a decisive fight and take them as a sign of the gods’ favor. Raveni calendars honor Abrysses with the Bloodwake Rite, remembering the god as a divine warrior and an avatar of fury.
