- This is a prominent goblin orphanage operated by a “kingpin” in the slums of Foundry Street within Ravena. Mintgold takes in the many orphaned goblins of the city (common as a result of ever-ongoing goblin gang wars in the city) and puts them to work while nominally looking after the misfortunate goblins by providing them shelter, food, and a family. Knob was one such goblin who had a particularly hard time in the competitive environment of the orphanage (due to his small stature) but came upon a stroke of good look when an Aethyrsparked adventurer took a shine to Knob and arranged with Granny Mintgold to provide a stipend to pay for a formal education for Knob. It was this act that placed Knob on the path toward becoming a master Spellweaver.)

- Flavor Text: “Granny Mintgold always said family comes at a price. Some paid in coin, some in blood. Knob paid in knowledge, and it changed everything.”

Knob - Quell Knob Aedrin Liliana Govak
Section titled “Knob - Quell Knob Aedrin Liliana Govak”Early Life: Knob the Goblin
- Green-skinned goblin orphan of Ravena, the Moon-city
- A bit of a runt and an outcast within Granny Mintgold’s orphanage of displaced gob-children. He had the good fortune of an adventurer passing through and taking notice of him making symbols in the mud and decided to set up a trust fund for Granny Mintgold to pay for the child to go to school — So Knob was the first low-born Goblin to graduate from the Primari Academy (though it did take him over twice as many years due to unconventional learning paths & systemic challenges
- Now graduated, he serves the Draco Chryseum seeking to put his studied magical skills to purpose. He wears a mixture of found / repurposed academy and professor’s clothes with components of different parts of battle-mage and wizard-adventurer’s gear. His colorful, creative appearance is mirrored by his multi-chromatic, color-shifting frizzy fey cat.

Later Life: Quell the Aethyrborn
- An inorganic being composed of Aethyr intertwined with the fragmented souls of accomplished Aethyr Spellweavers who died in unique, highly explosive aethyr events and were reformed around the charred, char-coal husk of Knob’s corpse after he died to an Astral Dragon’s Neutron Breath.
- Quell has now taken on the Mantle of the Spellweaver, the fallen god of Magic and the Aethyreweave flows directly into their body
- Wears a sleek metal belt featuring 4 amber crystal soulgems
