Gran-Tita (Titan)

The Gran-Tita were the titans of Aradaea, the eldest of the Gran heritages and the root from which most giant lines grew. They descended from the Haku-Grana, the proto-giants, and were set apart from them by magic. The heritage arose some 225,000 years ago and is now extinct.

Titans were gargantuan, standing around 25 feet tall and weighing about 10,000 pounds. They were hairless, their skin fell within the lighter tones, and their bodies were touched by Aethyr as well as enlarged.

The titans are associated with Vogdu, the mountain valley that giants carved from the rock and where giant society is still ordered by the Giant Ordning. Their senses reached into the ground itself, picking up movement through the earth out to about 120 feet.

A titan could expect to live around 2,500 years, far longer than any of the giant lines that followed them.

Five heritages trace their descent to the titans: the storm, cloud, fire, frost and stone giants. All but the stone giants remain in Vogdu, and through the stone giants the titans’ blood runs on in goliaths, firbolgs and several other giantkin. What ended the titans themselves is not yet recorded. They are not a playable heritage.
