Raveni Tram
The Raveni Tram is the street railway that carries people through Ravena, the megalopolis moon at the center of the Geminaean system. It is one of the named lines among Geminaea’s trains and trams, and for many residents it is the everyday way of getting from one district to another.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Tram cars run along rails laid through the streets, drawing power from the city’s supply of Aethyr. Cars are lighter and slower than mainline trains and stop frequently, so passengers can step on and off throughout the day.
Common Uses
Section titled “Common Uses”The tram links homes, markets, guild halls and workplaces across the districts of Ravena. Couriers and small traders use it as much as commuters do.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”Fares are modest, and the tram is open to citizens, residents and visitors alike. Service is busiest in the central districts and thinner toward the edges of the city.
Crowded cars draw pickpockets, and collisions with carts or pedestrians are an ongoing hazard. Because so much of the city depends on its transit systems, Raveni law treats tampering with transit infrastructure as a severe crime.
