Gran-Stoma (Storm Giant)
The Gran-Stoma are the storm giants of Aradaea, one of the Gran heritages descended from the Gran-Tita. Magic, rather than land or diet, set them apart from their titan forebears, and their line has endured for some 200,000 years.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Storm giants stand around 20 feet tall and weigh about 5,000 pounds. Their bodies carry an elemental cast: skin runs through blues, whites and greys, and their hair seems charged, as though it holds a little of the weather in it.
Society and Culture
Section titled “Society and Culture”Like the other giants of their valley, storm giants live within the Giant Ordning, a highly structured order in which each giant’s place and duties are set and known.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”Their home is Vogdu, a small mountain valley that giants carved out of the rock and reshaped to catch the water their fields and herds require. Storm giants sense movement through the ground out to about 60 feet.
Life Cycle
Section titled “Life Cycle”A storm giant can expect to live around a thousand years, long enough that a single elder may remember events most other peoples know only from old records.
Relations
Section titled “Relations”The cloud, fire and frost giants share both their titan ancestry and their valley. The Gran-Stona come from the same line but settled in Vargal instead. Storm giants are not a playable heritage.
