Gran-Cloda (Cloud Giant)
The Gran-Cloda are the cloud giants of Aradaea, one of the elemental giant heritages descended from the Gran-Tita. Magic, rather than land or diet, set them apart from the titans some 200,000 years ago, and their bodies still carry its elemental mark.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Cloud giants are immense, standing around 19 feet tall and weighing some 5,000 pounds. Their skin runs to blues, whites and purples, and their hair looks more like drifting mist than anything grown.
Society and Culture
Section titled “Society and Culture”Cloud giants belong to the ordered world of the Giant Ordning, the structure that gives every giant of Vogdu a place and a purpose. Little more is recorded about their customs.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”Their home is Vogdu, a small mountain valley that giants carved from the rock to suit their needs. Its shaped slopes and channels capture the water that farming and herding on a giant’s scale require. Cloud giants feel tremors through the ground out to about 60 feet.
Life Cycle
Section titled “Life Cycle”A cloud giant can live around 1,000 years, long enough to see many generations of smaller peoples rise and fall.
Relations
Section titled “Relations”They share their titan ancestry with the Gran-Stoma, Gran-Fira, Gran-Frosa and Gran-Stona. Beyond the valley, the giants who rule Stelvast keep a direct connection to the Ordning of Vogdu.
