Krekku (Kenku)
The Krekku are the flightless raven-folk of Vitaea, a Skyborn heritage. Their council-led communities make up the lower classes of Aaraki society, which generally sees them as subservient. Like the other beastfolk, they descend from the True Sylvari and gained sapience in the Great Awakening, some 40,000 years ago.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”A Krekku stands about three feet tall and weighs around 50 pounds. Their feathers are black, grey or dark purple. They have wings and talons, but cannot truly fly, though their feathers can slow a fall.
Society and Culture
Section titled “Society and Culture”Krekku usually live in segregated neighborhoods of their own, governed by councils. They are gifted mimics with a remarkable memory, able to reproduce sounds, voices and handiwork with uncanny accuracy.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”Their home region is Zarriel, where their labor sustains the dense worker cities of the Hegemony.
