The Devotion of the Cosmic Scale
The Devotion of the Cosmic Scale honors the god who established the divine order of Geminaea as it exists now, after the end of the God Wars. Its followers understand that the balance between the gods must be maintained to keep the horrors of those wars from returning.
Deities Venerated
Section titled “Deities Venerated”The sect has a single deity, Ola’Vandyr the Arbiter, Prime Deity of Balance, whose realm is Scale, Ola’Vandyr’s Lost Domain. When the gods were reborn, it was the Arbiter’s vision and the belief of the Arbiter’s followers that bound them to balance, each limited to a single domain.
Tenets
Section titled “Tenets”The faithful hold that no god, people or power should be allowed to grow without check. They remember the God Wars as the price of imbalance and treat moderation and restraint as sacred duties.
Clergy and Rites
Section titled “Clergy and Rites”Clergy of the Scale tend to act as mediators and keepers of memory. They recall how the followers of the Arbiter waited out the God Wars and returned to reseed the world, and many rites honor that endurance. The Godspact also speaks of Guardians who serve the Order of Ola’Vandyr within the mortal realm.
Holy Sites
Section titled “Holy Sites”Records of the Devotion’s holy places are sparse, and the realm of its patron is known only as a lost domain.
