Eternity, Fraedyzen's Domain

Eternity is the Divine Plane of undeath, a timeless realm beyond mortal comprehension that represents infinite potential. Like every Divine Plane, it is known only through the Godspact and the dreams of mortals, since no mortal has yet visited it.

Unusually among the Divine Planes, Eternity does not belong to a Prime Deity. Its patron is Fraedyzen the Undying, a Divine whose domain is undeath and who stands for his followers’ wish to break the chains of mortality. No other god is recorded as dwelling there.

Dreamers describe a place where nothing changes and nothing ends: still skies, unfading halls and paths that lead on without arriving anywhere. Time seems absent rather than slow.

Accounts speak of souls that have refused to pass on and linger in the plane unchanged, though nothing confirms who they are or how they came there.

Followers of The Cult of the Eternal Soul hold that the soul is immutable and can be made to outlast death. To them, dreams of Eternity are a promise of what their devotion might earn. The plane’s stillness sets it apart from Passage, the domain through which souls move on.
