Horizon, Sharlesyn's Domain

Horizon is the Divine Plane of luck, a realm of infinite skies and endless exploration that embodies freedom and the pursuit of the unknown. Like every Divine Plane, it is known only through the Godspact and the dreams of mortals; no mortal has yet set foot there.

The domain belongs to Sharlesyn the Fortuneseer, the Prime Deity of Luck. Many Divines share the realm: Dyadonnis the Fatespinner holds sway over fate, Markonis the Traveler over travel, Bytaren the Rogue over thieves, Darenzyl the Merchant over commerce and Jamytheon the Braveheart over adventure. The twins Hanzeleon, the Twin of Tragedy, and Gretafina, the Twin of Prosperity, divide misfortune and fortune between them.

Dreamers describe open skies above roads, rivers and seas that run on without end, where every turn reveals a new distance.

Little is recorded beyond the gods. Accounts mention wanderers who never stop moving and never seem to arrive.

Followers of The Chancery of the Fortunes, who seek success through audacity or simply accept the random turns of fate, often take a dream of Horizon as a good omen before a journey or a gamble. Raveni calendars open the month of Shardassan with Fortune’s Turning in Sharlesyn’s honor.
