Passage, Sara'Theon's Domain
Passage is the Divine Plane of death, a tranquil realm that guides souls to their destinations and represents transition and the afterlife. Like every Divine Plane, it is known only through the Godspact and the dreams of mortals, since no living mortal has yet entered it.
Patron
Section titled “Patron”The domain belongs to Sara’Theon the Spiritkeeper, the Prime Deity of Death. Serving under him is Essavera the Ascendant, the Divine of ancestors.
Landscape
Section titled “Landscape”Dreamers describe a quiet country of mist, still water and long roads, where travelers walk in one direction and none seems to hurry.
Inhabitants
Section titled “Inhabitants”The Godspact holds that some passed spirits are raised to become Seraphs, while others pass on to a fate shaped by their own beliefs and by the memories of those who remember them. Passage is widely imagined as the place where those paths divide.
Glimpses by Mortals
Section titled “Glimpses by Mortals”Followers of The Church of the Passing believe death gives life its meaning and seek connection with their ancestors, and dreams of Passage are often taken as a visit from the departed. Raveni calendars open Sara’Thedassan, the Month of Remembrance, with the Spiritkeeper’s Vigil in Sara’Theon’s honor.
