Ward, Leoda's Domain
Ward is the Divine Plane of love, described as a fortified realm of protection that embodies guardianship and vigilance. Here love takes the form of keeping safe what is cherished. Like every Divine Plane, it is known only through the Godspact and the dreams of mortals, since no mortal has yet visited it.
Patron
Section titled “Patron”The domain belongs to Leoda the Goldenheart, the Prime Deity of Love. Sheldeas the Matchmaker, the Divine of marriage, shares the realm with the Goldenheart.
Landscape
Section titled “Landscape”Dreamers describe walled gardens and warm halls behind strong gates, places that feel like a home well defended rather than a fortress built for war.
Inhabitants
Section titled “Inhabitants”Beyond the gods, accounts are vague. Some mention watchful guardians at every gate, others only the feeling of being sheltered.
Glimpses by Mortals
Section titled “Glimpses by Mortals”Leoda is one of the Prime Deities of The Church of Holy Virtues. Couples about to marry and those who care for others are said to dream of Ward more often than most. Raveni calendars open Leodassan, the Month of Compassion, with Goldenheart’s Grace in Leoda’s honor, a day given to healing, empathy and generosity.
