Grekkin (Orken)

Grek’Garn (Orcs)

Grek’Haku (Half-Orcs)

Grek-Gobu (Goblins)

Grek’Trok (Trolls)

The Grekkin, also called greenskins, are the orcs and their kin. They descend from the Haku-Greka, the proto-orcs, whose divergence from Aradaea’s first humans began with diet. The orcs are the oldest surviving line, and goblins, trolls and half-orcs all branched from them later.

Grekkin lives are short, rarely much past 50 years for orcs, goblins and trolls, and around 75 for half-orcs. Their heartland is Enthak, a coastal savanna roamed by many warclans, often at odds with one another, who live by herding, fishing, raiding and piracy, with some farming of drought-hardy crops. Grekkin also mine the mesas alongside the Dwek, and in Sylvaria’s Vargal Valley tribes of orcs, goblins and giant trollkin share the land with goliaths and ogres.

  • Grek’Garn (Orcs): warlike tribes that hold fast to ancestral traditions.
  • Grek’Haku (Half-Orcs): people of mixed orc and human ancestry, from any human line.
  • Grek-Gobu (Goblins): cunning, fiercely competitive tribes whose members live short lives.
  • Grek’Trok (Trolls): a magically changed offshoot of the orcs, also native to Enthak.
