Vikrin Society
The Vikrin Society is one of the Guilds of Ravena, the confederacy of guilds that has governed the moon since the Guildpact ended the War of the Moon. It is the guild of medicine and the life sciences.
Role in Ravena
Section titled “Role in Ravena”The Society oversees medicine, the life sciences, biological research and pharmacology. Its guild-day, Vikrasda, is devoted to medicine, anatomy and public health, and some independent enclaves keep it as a silent day in honor of healing. Each year the guild observes Red Renewal, a commemoration of healing, medicine and anatomical rites. The History of Ravena records that the Society pushed the limits of alchemy and rebirth in the moon’s early centuries.
Its research has also produced the Vikrinboren, people of many origins whose bodies were altered by the Society’s experiments.
