Haku-Grana (Proto-Giant)
The Haku-Grana were the proto-giants, the oldest of the Haku-Prota ancestral peoples that branched from Aradaea’s first humans. Magic began to set them apart some 250,000 years ago, and from them the giant lines of Aradaea arose. The heritage itself is long extinct.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Proto-giants were large, standing around ten feet tall and weighing about 500 pounds. They were hairless, and their skin covered the natural range of tones. Size was their defining trait, a first step toward the far greater bulk of their descendants.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”No single region is recorded as their home; they belong to Aradaea’s deep past as a whole. The History of Aradaea tells how giants, as they diverged from early humans, drew on elemental energies, their growth shaped by the meeting of nature and magic.
Life Cycle
Section titled “Life Cycle”A proto-giant could expect to live around a thousand years. They sensed movement through the ground out to about 60 feet, a trait that runs through the giant lines that followed.
Relations
Section titled “Relations”The proto-giants were the ancestors of the Gran-Tita, the titans, and through them of the storm, cloud, fire, frost and stone giants and the many Gran peoples descended from those lines. Their cousins among the proto-races were the Haku-Elda, Haku-Greka and Haku-Dweka. The proto-giants are not a playable heritage.
