Anevar, the Vigil

Anevar, once the Moon of Terra, was moved to the outer edge of the Geminaean system by the Otaan using the Space Stone after their work to rebuild the fractured halves of Terra into the reconstituted planets that would become known as Aradaea and Vitaea. Following the exodus of the gods beyond the Divine Divide, the Otaan remained on Anevar for millennia, keeping watchful vigil over their charge and performing their duties within the Godspact as the bisected races of the Wataari and the Eldaari.

The Wataari and Eldaari peoples shared the moon in collaboration from the start until the War of the Watchers brought discord between the once-unioned races and the Wataari were nearly wiped out. The few survivors of the war fled across the Astral Sea and created a fortress and sanctuary named Tu’Narath from the corpse of their progenitor, Ola’Vandyr.

Since the expulsion of the Wataari from Anevar and after the total annihilation of the Wataari half of Anevar, the shattered remnants on that side of the planet have become a nesting ground for a large colony of Astral Dragons which have been brought under the sway of the Eldaari collective. In the centuries following the end of the War of the Watchers the Eldaari have delved deep into the core of the planet to create a sanctum for Eldaar, the central mind of all Eldaari.

Only a handful of mortals (outside the Wataari and Eldaari) have set foot on Anevar and none had until the start of the Ascendant Era, when the champion-members of the Phoenix Chryseum arrived to confront Eldaar and prevent The Mortal Singularity. The Eldaari and Wataari possess ships and mounts (respectively) which enable them to traverse vast distances across The Astral to travel between Anevar and other locations across the system and there also exist two planar gates, one on Aradaea and another on Vitaea, left behind by the gods after they concluded the Reconstruction and finalized the pact at the Temple of the Gods (which orbits Anevar).
