Desolation, Junitaxion's Domain

Desolation is the Divine Plane of destruction, a barren realm of ruin that represents decay and entropy. Like every Divine Plane, it is known only through the Godspact and the dreams of mortals, since no mortal has yet entered it.

The domain belongs to Junitaxion the Destroyer, the Prime Deity of Destruction. Four Divines dwell there under the Destroyer: Andreliah the Plaguebringer, who holds sway over pestilence, Byr’Tendris the Blightcaller over rot, Ossakryon the Scourge over ruin and Ma’Vik the Void over oblivion.

Dreamers describe empty plains of ash, fallen cities and dead forests under a dim sky. Nothing in the plane is whole, and what remains seems to crumble a little more with every glance.

Accounts name no residents beyond the gods. A few speak of a silence so complete that even the dreamer’s own footsteps make no sound.

Members of The Church of Ruinous Powers differ in why they turn to Junitaxion: some hope to appease the forces of ruin and hold them back, while others seek to bring despair on their foes. Raveni calendars honor the god with The Last Step, remembering Junitaxion as the destroyer of endings and inevitability.
