Proma (Promethean Races)

The Proma were the first sapient beings of Geminaea, arising on Terra long before The Rending split that world apart. During the Divergence Timeline they built the first cultures and belief systems and discovered that they could wield magic. Proma scholars began to record how Aethyr could be shaped through ritual, symbol and incantation, and their capacity for thought and imagination is believed to have been tied to the Aethyrweave from the start.
Their age ended in the War of Belief and the destruction of Terra. Only the Otaan survived, and they later divided themselves into two new peoples, the Eldaari and the Wataari, who are counted here alongside the primordial lines they came from.
The Promethean Heritages

- Eldaari (Illithid): the mind of the Otaan, a people of shared thought now living on Anevar.
- Wataari (Gith): the body of the Otaan, who once enacted the will of the gods and now shelter at Tu’Narath.
