Energy
Energy is what keeps Geminaea’s technology running. Most of it comes, in one way or another, from Aethyr, the force woven through all of creation, which mortals have learned to gather, store and release in controlled amounts. Ravena itself is powered by a continuous Aethyr fusion reaction at its core, and the same principles, on a far smaller scale, drive the devices of everyday life.
Sources in Common Use
Section titled “Sources in Common Use”- Alchemist’s Fire: a volatile alchemical substance that burns fiercely. It is valued for heat and light, and feared as a weapon.
- Flux Cells: sealed vessels of stored Aethyr that can be carried, swapped and recharged.
- Lyrium Powder: finely ground Lyrium crystal, used as a refined fuel and catalyst for Aethyr-driven devices.
Trade and Control
Section titled “Trade and Control”Whoever controls energy holds real power. The production, sale and safe handling of these sources shape trade between the planets and the moon, and the guilds and governments of Geminaea watch over them closely.
