Wagbalag Wug (Bullywug)
The Wagbalag Wug are a toad-kin of Vitaea, a Landborn heritage living in republican settlements across marsh and swampland. They share a language and an amphibious nature with the smaller Wagbalag Gug. Like the other beastfolk, they descend from the True Sylvari and gained sapience in the Great Awakening, some 40,000 years ago.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”A Wagbalag Wug stands about three feet tall and weighs around 50 pounds. Their hairless, slippery hide comes in greens, browns and blacks that blend easily into reeds and mud.
Society and Culture
Section titled “Society and Culture”Unlike many of their neighbors, the Wagbalag Wug govern themselves as republics, with settlements run by their own citizens. They are agile in water and on land, and can lash out with a long tongue.
Homeland
Section titled “Homeland”Their home is the Akaras Wilds, on the continent of Akaras, where they favor the wetter, swampier ground.

Relations
Section titled “Relations”Most speak Aethyrian Common and Wagbalag. They can also speak with ordinary frogs and toads, a handy gift in country where such creatures are everywhere.
