• The Eldaari have established control over all major civilizations across Geminaea and Eldaar will soon wield the full collective power of Geminaean belief and emerge to cause the Eldaari Ascendancy
• A small group of Geminaeans (known as the Phoenix Chryseum) managed to uncover the truth behind the Eldaari plot using an artifact of Kyzandra that guided them to Shaimyra’s true form and forced the Eldaari to execute the final stage of their plan ahead of schedule
• The Eldaari leader, Kadophet, turned out to be a mutated Eldaari who did not possess a connection to the collective mind of Eldaar but found a way to reconnect and was working within the Eldaari with their own motives
• The Phoenix Chryseum’s existence and threat to the Eldaari was kept secret by Kadophet while they worked to challenge Eldaar
• The Phoenix Chryseum managed to reach the Divine Temple and speak with the gods of the Pantheon before they faded from the shifting belief of Geminaeans and the gods told them of the Runes of Creation which could be used to stop Eldaar
• The Phoenix Chryseum recovered three runes of creation from the Beast which once cut Geminaea in two and traveled to Anevar to confront Eldaar

The Ascendant Era is the present age of Geminaea and the third era of the Neoteric (Modern) Timeline. It opens at the close of the Lunar Era, when the Eldaari present themselves to the frightened peoples of both planets as saviors and urge them to forsake the gods who left them. The era has only just begun, and its history is still being written.

Major Events

• The Ascendancy looms: with the major civilizations under their control, the Eldaari prepare for Eldaar to wield the full collective belief of Geminaea in the Eldaari Ascendancy.
• The Phoenix Chryseum: a small group, the Phoenix Chryseum, uncovers the plot with an artifact of Kyzandra that leads them to Shaimyra’s true form, forcing the Eldaari to act early.
• Kadophet: the Eldaari leader proves to be a mutated Eldaari, once cut off from Eldaar’s collective mind, who keeps the Chryseum secret while pursuing their own aims.
• The fading gods: at the Divine Temple, the Chryseum speak with the gods of the Pantheon before they fade and learn of the Runes of Creation.
• Anevar: recovering runes from the Beast that once cut Geminaea in two, the Chryseum travel to Anevar to confront Eldaar.

Legacy

The Ascendant Era’s legacy is still unfolding. The History of Ravena describes it as a new age in which balance is chosen rather than imposed, divinity is bound to mortals, and Ravena’s guilds must govern a world where belief is no longer centralized.
